12/20/06: Welcome baby Akita The newest addition to the Deer Farm family is Akita, a 6-week old baby Wallaby. She was rejected by her mother and taken in by foster mom, Lynn Hoisington. Foster mom and baby are doing fine. Akita will be ready to meet visitors in late March.

12/7/06: Kong retired After 6 years of service to the Deer Farm, Kong, our 8-year-old Belgian Draft horse, is now enjoying a life of easy living.
